LEGENDS LANDS TO CRITICAL ACCLAIM
In the early 1990s, Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise was losing its battle with illegal drug smuggling across Britain’s borders. The solution was extraordinary. In a top-secret operation, a small team of Customs employees were sent undercover. Their task - to infiltrate Britain’s most dangerous drug gangs.
But these were not trained spies. They were normal men and women, plucked from ordinary lives around the UK, put through a basic training regime and tasked with building new identities in the criminal underworld. These identities were called Legends.
LEGENDS landed on Netflix on 7 May 2026, and was immediatly met with 5 star reviews from the Financial Times and Radio Times, and glowing commentary in Variety and The Telegraph, to name but a few.
The Sunday Times said "at last, Britain has a cop show to rival The Wire", whilst Screen Rant called the series "a masterpiece".
All 6 episodes made it in to the BARB 50 most-watched programmes across all broadcast channels and SVOD services for the 28 days of May-June. A month after drop, Legends is the only Netflix series to rank in the top 50, with all 6 eps making it in to the top 20 – showing an incredible retention rate for the Tannadice series.
THE GOLD AIRS TO RAVE REVIEWS
Shortly before 7am on Saturday the 26th November 1983, an armed gang burst into the Brink’s-Mat security warehouse near London’s Heathrow Airport. They expected to find a million pounds in foreign currency. To their surprise, they found gold bullion worth £26 million. It was the largest robbery in British history and set off an extraordinary chain of events that spread from London around the world.
